Summat isn’t a mis-spelling – for those who already don’t know, it’s Yorkshire for ‘something’!
Politicians and the sort are always heading off to summits about important issues… so we thought we’d have our own summit, also about important issues, but a lot more fun, and very Yorkshire. Also, the event is neither a conference, nor simply a festival, nor a meeting, nor like anything else we could name. So that’s why it’s a Summat!
